Mission Statement:

Our mission is dedicated to building decent, affordable housing with families that live in substandard and unaffordable housing and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Our vision is seeing that all residents of the Greater Providence area live in decent, affordable homes.

Goals of Partnership:

To create a structure to support an exchange of service, learning, and relationship making in a way that is sincere, authentic, and beneficial to all three entities- PC Feinstein Institute, HabitatPVD, and the community.

Community Engagement Coordinator

Main Duties:

  1. Assist HabitatPVD in its strategic goal to create an organization that is authentically led by, of, and for the community it serves
  2. Community asset mapping
  3. Coordinating meetings with community leaders
  4. Creation and/or curation of relationships.community-building experiences and events
  5. Create goals/standards to determine and assess success
