Young Voices

Mission Statement:

The mission of Young Voices is to transform urban youth into powerful advocates who have a voice in every aspect of their lives. Every year, more than 180 youth from across Rhode Island participate in innovative programs that prepare them to be influential advocates and effective leaders who make a real difference in our schools, state, and world.

Goal of Partnership:

Build a more inclusive bridge for high school students in Providence, Pawtucket, and Central Falls to access and learn about life after college including higher education options at PC and beyond. To provide undergraduate students at PC with meaningful and impactful community-based learning experiences in Providence. To engage more young people in community organizing and youth-led change efforts in Providence and Rhode Island at large. To build our capacity as an organization to continue growing and sustaining our innovative leadership programs. To better tell our story, our history, impact, and programs with a wider audience.

Social Media Marketing Manager

Main Duties:

  1. Improve and maintain social media presence
  2. Amplify new brand and new space
  3. Develop marketing campaign for 15th anniversary

Expected Hours per Week

Student is expected to work between 15-20 hours per week.

Office Manager

Main Duties

  1. Improve administrative and office workflow
  2. Complete data entry & filing
  3. Support bookkeeping records
  4. Organize program supplies
  5. Provide additional administrative support as needed
